Sharp Unveils 435Wp Solar Panel

News

Sharp Energy Solutions Europe has introduced its newest offering in half-cut cell technology: the NU-JC435. This high-efficiency 435W n-Type TOPCon monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic panel comes with a sleek black frame and a white backsheet. Featuring both long and short side clamping, the NU-JC435 panel offers flexible mounting options. Its lightweight design and compact dimensions ensure easy handling, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop installations.

Power output

The NU-JC435 boasts an impressive efficiency rating of 22.28% and a low-temperature coefficient of -0.300%/°C. These attributes enhance its performance, particularly in elevated ambient temperatures, thus underscoring its importance in the context of climate change and the associated temperature increases.

Product reliability

The NU-JC435 panel is built with M10 wafers (182 mm) featuring 108 half-cells. Using advanced 16-busbar technology with round ribbons, it not only enhances the power output of individual cells but also reduces susceptibility to microcracks, resulting in increased module reliability.

Every Sharp half-cell module features three compact junction boxes, each housing a bypass diode. This design minimises heat transfer to the cells above, which extends the panel's lifespan and optimises overall system performance.

The panel is fitted with the MC4 connector to ensure compatibility with a wide range of popular optimisers and inverters in the market.

The panel's safety, quality, and durability are endorsed by the IEC seals (IEC61215 and IEC61730), attesting to its compliance with rigorous international standards. Through extensive testing, it has proven its resilience in harsh conditions, including exposure to ammonia, salt mist, sand, and PID resistance. It has also passed the EN13501 'reaction to fire' test, therefore showcasing its exceptional safety and reliability. In addition, achieving Hail Resistance Class 4 (HW4) in stringent hail impact tests qualifies it for inclusion in the Swiss and Austrian Hail Register.

Easy to Use

With dimensions of 1722 x 1134 mm and a slim frame standing at a mere 30 mm, the NU-JC435 solar panel weighs only 20.7 kg. These specifications make it an ideal choice for seamless integration across various applications, including residential, small-scale commercial, and industrial rooftop systems. Its lightweight and compact design allows it to blend effortlessly into the overall system to ensure smooth installation and optimal performance.

The panel's versatility extends to compliance with a range of mounting techniques, such as short and long frame side clamping, screwing, and sliding options. This adaptability ensures a flexible and hassle-free assembly process, resulting in cost savings on balance-of-system components and capital expenditures.

The NU-JC435 is covered by Sharp’s 25-year EU end user product guarantee and 30-year linear power output guarantee, with a minimum of 87.5% in year 30.

Andrew Lee, Sales Director at EMEA SHARP Energy Solutions Europe, comments, "The introduction of our new NU-JC435 panel marks a substantial leap forward for our product lineup. With its sleek black frame and N-Type TOPCon Technology, this addition is specifically designed to meet the demands of residential, small-scale commercial, and industrial rooftop installations. It prioritises ease of handling and installation while at the same time ensuring exceptional performance and steadfast reliability. It is also important to note that our solar panel has passed the rigorous EN13501 'reaction to fire' test and obtained UK MCS certification which demonstrates our dedication to meeting stringent standards for high-quality, low-carbon energy solutions."
