enwitec joins the German Association of the Solar Trade (BDSH)

News

enwitec GmbH, a leading manufacturer of standard-compliant system components for photovoltaics and energy storage solutions, is now an official supporting member of the German Association of the Solar Trade (BDSH).

With this step, the company reaffirms its strong ties to the skilled trades and sends a clear signal for quality, partnership, and a shared commitment to shaping the energy transition.

A Partnership of Equals

Membership in the BDSH is a win-win for both sides: while enwitec expands its network within the skilled trades and deepens its direct exchange with installers, planners, and specialist companies, the association benefits from the company’s technical expertise, innovative strength, and practical product portfolio.

“We see ourselves as a partner to the trades – not just a supplier,” emphasizes Marcel Rottler, Global Head of Marketing at enwitec. “Joining the BDSH is a logical step for us to get even closer to the needs of installers and to develop solutions together that truly make everyday work on-site easier.”

The BDSH – The Voice of the Solar Trade

The German Association of the Solar Trade (BDSH) represents the interests of over 1,000 craft businesses in the fields of photovoltaics, storage, and charging infrastructure. Its mission is to improve the framework conditions for the solar trade, promote hands-on training, and ensure quality across the industry. Through events, training programs, and political advocacy, the BDSH serves as a key voice of the energy transition – directly from within the trade.

Two Perspectives, One Goal

Interview with Torben L. Brodersen (Managing Director, BDSH) and Marcel Rottler (Global Head of Marketing, enwitec):

Editorial Team: Mr. Rottler, what does BDSH membership mean for enwitec?

Marcel Rottler: For us, it’s a matter close to our hearts. We design our products to be as practical and installer-friendly as possible. Direct exchange with the trades is essential for this. Through our BDSH membership, we can respond even more precisely to the needs of businesses – whether in product development, service, or training offerings.

Editorial Team: Mr. Brodersen, how do you view enwitec’s addition to the association?

Torben Leif Brodersen: We’re very pleased to welcome enwitec as a member. The company stands for quality, reliability, and technical excellence – values that are also essential in the trades. What we particularly appreciate is that enwitec doesn’t just deliver products, but actively seeks dialogue and is committed to advancing the industry. That’s true partnership in action.

Editorial Team: What specific projects are planned?

Marcel Rottler: Together with the BDSH, we want to offer practical training sessions – for example, on topics like standard-compliant backup power solutions or grid switching. We also plan to incorporate even more feedback from the trades into our product development – such as new EMS features or preconfigured system solutions. Our enwitec PowerPartner campaign will also be of interest to BDSH members, offering solar professionals direct access to our expertise and active exchange.

Torben Leif Brodersen: That’s exactly our goal: to bring manufacturers and trades together to grow stronger together. With enwitec, we’ve gained a partner who shares this vision – and we’re very excited about that.

United for the Energy Transition

enwitec’s membership in the BDSH sends a strong signal to the industry: when trades and industry work hand in hand, solutions emerge that are not only technically sound but also work in everyday practice. For a decentralized, secure, and sustainable energy supply – in Germany and beyond.
