ENERTRAG to Erect 26 New Wind Turbines Across Germany

News

ENERTRAG has received approvals for 26 wind turbines across Germany with a combined capacity of 187.2 MW in the Uckermark region. These projects include Malchow Ost, Schenkenberg 4 and 5, and Tantow 1, marking a significant milestone for the company. ENERTRAG, with 25+ years of expertise and 1,000 employees, develops integrated power plants combining wind, solar, batteries, and electrolysers, generating 2,000 GWh annually and advancing 30 GW of global renewable energy projects.

Newly approved installations include:

  • Malchow Ost: Located in the municipality of Göritz: this project includes 12 Vestas V172 turbines, each with a capacity of 7.2 MW and a hub height of 175 meters. Initiated in 2010, it is one of ENERTRAG’s largest wind energy projects.
  • Schenkenberg 4 and 5: Situated in the municipality of Schenkenberg: this project comprises 10 Vestas V172 turbines, each with the same specifications as those in Malchow Ost.
  • Tantow 1: Located in the municipality of Tantow: this project consists of 4 Vestas V172 turbines, each with a capacity of 7.2 MW. Initiated in 2003, it highlights ENERTRAG’s long-term commitment to renewable energy.

“These approvals reflect the dedication and collaboration of our project teams,” said Marc Transfeld, Regional Director for North Brandenburg. Tom Lange, Head of Wind & PV Development, added, “Securing these permits is a testament to the exceptional efforts of our teams.”
