Jackery Technology GmbH launches SolarVault 3 Series in Germany
The International Alliance for Battery and Energy Storage (IBESA) announces that its partner Jackery Technology GmbH (Jackery), a global leader in clean energy solutions, launches its SolarVault 3 Series in Germany today, marking a milestone in the company’s journey from outdoor power to balcony solar and home energy storage. The SolarVault 3 Series is the latest generation of Jackery’s home energy innovation and combines high performance, smart energy management and ease of use.
Solar energy continues to play an important role in the energy transition of European countries, such as Germany. According to EUPD Research's Global Energy Transition (GET) Matrix© there will be an expected growth between 2026 to 2028 of 14.2 GWdc in photovoltaic installations within the residential segment. In particular, the number and installed capacity of balcony power plants have been increasing strongly over the years. The installed capacity per year rose from approx. 460 MWdc in 2024 to approx. 644 MWdc in 2025.
Now entering the German market, the Jackery SolarVault 3 Series brings flexible, high-performance solar solutions to a variety of user scenarios, offering three tailored models: SolarVault 3 Pro, SolarVault 3 Pro Max, and SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC. The primary distinction between SolarVault 3 Pro and SolarVault 3 Pro Max is AC output power. SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC, however, is purpose-built as a storage-only solution for households that already operate a rooftop or balcony PV system and want to add battery capacity without replacing existing infrastructure. Together, the Jackery SolarVault 3 Series with its compact all-in-one design delivers smart, efficient and scalable solar energy solutions for modern urban and suburban living.
SolarVault 3 Pro – Jackery’s residential storage system meeting the demand of modern European households
Designed to maximise solar generation throughout the day, SolarVault 3 Pro continuously collects sunlight from sunrise to sunset, converting daylight into clean, usable energy at only ≤30 dB. With up to 4000W of PV input, the system can generate up to 4,800 kWh per year, effectively transforming balconies or rooftops into high-performance personal power plants – based on a truly plug-and-play design and a hassle-free setup, perfect for apartments and rental homes. With four independent MPPT trackers, SolarVault 3 Pro ensures optimal performance across multiple panel groups, delivering greater stability, flexibility, and overall energy yield. This performance can be monitored via an intuitive app, putting full control in one place, featuring various energy-saving modes. With a stable 1200W on-grid output, SolarVault 3 Pro reliably supports everyday household appliances. In addition, the system can also provide up to 2300W of bypass power through its off-grid port when connected to the grid to enable higher-demand appliances. With up to 1200W of backup power, the SolarVault 3 Pro proves to be a reliable energy source in case of power outages, switching to battery power in less than 20 milliseconds. The expandable storage capacity of the Jackery SolarVault 3 Pro from 2.52 kWh to 15.12 kWh, supporting up to five battery packs, enables users to store excess solar energy, thus significantly improving self-consumption and maximising long-term savings.
Due to its scalability and compatibility with most solar panels and microinverters, the SolarVault 3 Pro also supports panel upgrades and seasonal expansion, adapting easily to changing household energy needs. In addition, SolarVault 3 Pro supports 1200W AC coupling, allowing existing solar installations to be upgraded quickly and efficiently.
SolarVault 3 Pro features an intelligent AI system that optimises energy use, storage and cost-efficiency automatically. With access to real-time electricity prices from leading European platforms, SolarVault 3 Pro charges when electricity is cheapest and discharges during high-price periods. Furthermore, the system’s AI predicts solar production, home consumption and battery state of charge to automatically select the most cost-effective operating strategy, reducing energy expenses and enhancing system performance without requiring manual adjustments. Its pairing with a smart meter or smart meter reader enables the SolarVault 3 Pro to monitor real-time household energy consumption and adjusts output to reduce grid reliance.
Reliable Components & Proven Longevity
Designed for all-weather operation, SolarVault 3 Pro works reliably from -20°C to 55°C and is IP65-rated for water and dust protection. Integrated alerts from Deutscher Wetterdienst help the system respond proactively to heatwaves, storms or other severe conditions. SolarVault 3 Pro continuously monitors the temperature of PV and grid terminals, instantly alerting at the first sign of overheating. A built-in aerosol fire-suppression system automatically activates if critical temperatures are reached, providing an invisible layer of protection against internal risks. V-shaped airflow and thermal isolation plates improve natural cooling, keeping the system stable and reliable while extending its lifespan. Built with LFP battery cells, SolarVault 3 Pro delivers stable performance and long life. With over 100 protective mechanisms and more than 1,000 reliability tests, the system is engineered for safety, durability and performance.
